3. Surface preparation and (http://maplered.com) application:
a. All surfaces must be dry, clean and (http://maplered.com) free from dirt, dust, oil, grease, wax, paint,
curing compounds or any other loose contaminating Material (http://g654.org) s
b. Davco Liquid Water Repellent is applied directly from the can using a roller,
brush or suitable spray equipment. Soaking method may be adopted for certain types
of Stone (http://g603.net) s. When applying by brush or roller, a minimum of 2 coats is recommended
to ensure a continuous film. When spraying, low pressure should be used and (http://maplered.com)
a face respirator worn
c. Allow the 1st coat to dry between 6-8 hours before applying the 2nd coat
d. For installation of Granite (http://tanbrown.org) or Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) after application of Davco liquid water
repellent, it is recommended to leave the treated surface to dry for at least 4
to 6 hours. When applying on top surface of Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) /Granite (http://tanbrown.org) , buffing is followed
the next day to remove residue
e. Always apply the Material (http://g654.org) from top to bottom
f. Painted woodwork and (http://maplered.com) plants should be protected when application of Davco liquid
g. Water Repellent is in progress; this can be done by using a cloth, canvas or polyethylene
sheet
4. Shelf life: up to 12 months in unopened containers
